When ICR was approached by the company — who was named Sunset Life at the time — they were in search of a name and visual brand that was  much more modern and much less depressing for elder investors. After working through 100s of options, the client landed on Ibexis as the right choice for their new mission. They loved the technical tone of the name as well as the symbolic strength and agility provided by the ibex.  

Armed with a name, we turned our attention to the primary logo. We created a mark that felt prideful and current. We applied a color palette that was pacifying and category appropriate. We also created an overarching concept that utilized a real ibex as a guiding spokescritter. The ibex was featured prominently on the website and in all marketing materials. It became synonymous with Ibexis’ security and investment strength.

We succeeded in creating a new voice and striking visual brand that served the client perfectly. Proof was in the company’s stellar, immediate A- rating and they are frequently featured in “industry best” editorials — recognition that couldn’t have been achieved without the sophistication we brought to the brand.
