Certegy

Certegy is a B2B payment validation company. Through their suite of sophisticated technologies, including Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Certegy processes and verifies check and ACH transactions. 

The problem? Despite their robust platform and advanced tools, they were seen by other businesses (and the investment community) as merely a “paper check authorization company.” With checks being used much less frequently, Certegy needed to shift their image and identity. 

ICR Branding + Creative led them down a path that completely modernized their corporate identity, redefined their position, and updated their product architecture. 

Certegy’s new image — their logo, fonts, color palette and copywriting — firmly entrenched Certegy into the modern FinTech space, allowing Certegy to operate with a newfound confidence. Their clarity of message appealed to business partners and investors alike. And their thorough Brand Standards Guide gave employees a definitive playbook and “why” for the new brand. 

As our team wrapped up the project, we helped Certegy’s leadership unveil the new brand to the entire company in what was viewed as a highly a celebratory event.
